Parent Education

Minnesota Families United Parent Education Program is designed to provide families with the skill sets necessary to raise resilient, happy children. The parenting curriculum utilizes a multigenerational approach and is tailored to the needs of individual families. General topics include child development, trauma, effective communication, positive redirection, behavior management, and more. Minnesota Families United works closely with case managers, social service agencies, and/or other related professionals to provide the most comprehensive experience for families. Parent education sessions are available with or without supervised visits. For each session, the supervisor provides a summary note explaining the topic of education.

Supervisors monitor and provide a summary of the progress of clients who participate in both parent education and supervised visits.

Minnesota Families United offers parent education to individual clients and small groups.
