Supervised Parenting

Minnesota Families United offers supervised parenting for families navigating divorce, active child protection cases, and other family matters. Our team of qualified visitation supervisors ensures a physically and emotionally safe environment for children to spend time with their noncustodial parent(s). The visitation supervisor monitors all interactions between the children and parents. Additionally, visitation supervisors intervene when necessary to protect all visiting parties. Throughout the visit, the visitation supervisors document a case note describing parent-child interactions. Documentation is objective and neutral. The note will be kept on file and sent to the appointed county case worker or family attorney.
